The hotel was wonderful small, with efficient staff. Stayed in a double room which was perfect for me. I had fresh food for breakfast with lovely bread. The setting was amazing, just off plenty of places to eat as well as the Botanical Gardens/Park.

The stay was very nice. This trendy boutique hotel was a useful base for one night. They gave me a charming old room with modern facilities and mis-matched, as for instance. I thoroughly enjoyed a cozy decor. The location was marvellous and stunning - ease of access to Māori galleries.

That was what I call useful base for one night. Thoroughly enjoyed how nicely renovated and good old the property was. The room was charming old, with very comfy bed and a roll in shower, hair dryers, and bathrobes in the bathroom. The breakfast was great, excellent with granola and cheeses, for example. The location was marvellous and stunning, close to a secondary school.

We were there for one night, and had a very nice time. Thoroughly enjoyed this place, it was good old. Finally, the hotel's restaurant was GREAT for dinner.

The staff were very very helpful and efficient, gave us great tips. The room itself was reasonably large and with a comfortable bed as well as mis-matched.

We had 2 pleasant days here, recommend the place. Had well-appointed and beautiful old room with private bathroom and several windows and a lounge. The staff was really helpful and affable and helped with the free parking. The breakfast at the lounge area was great and excellent.

Very nice experience, useful base for one night. Nicely renovated and good old hotel in a beautiful classic style building. Lovely room, tiled bathroom. Great breakfast with lovely bread, super-friendly and really friendly staff, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent very central location, just off the Botanic Gardens and the Art Museum, the cathedral and absolutely everything, the botanical gardens, museums, shopping and theatres. Besides, very convenient to Māori galleries.

It was important to get Wheelchair Accessible room with warm tiled bathroom and a comfortable bed and mis-matched and that went well.

I had a wonderful stay at the Classic Villa. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and cafes. I loved being able to walk to the Arts Centre across the road. The gluten-free breakfast options were a pleasant surprise. The staff, particularly Steve and Jackie, were incredibly helpful and pleasant to interact with. Despite not having a rental car, I was able to get around easily using Uber and walking. The complimentary glass of port in the hallway was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was quiet and relaxing. I had a fantastic experience at the Classic Villa.

I booked it many times and recommend. The staff were exceptional and accommodating hole time of my stay. There were several windows and a lounge area in the room, loved that. The location was particularly good, you can visit Avon River by walking. The hotel was short walk from gardens and parks and overlooked garden.

I truly enjoyed the staff, they are pretty friendly. Well heated new-fashioned rooms, they are provided with a comfortable bed, warm tiled bathroom.

Particularly good location of the hotel, right by the Botanic Gardens and excellent restaurants. Perfect base for exploring Christchurch.
